Dean is a seasoned hospitality executive with a passion for the craft cocktail industry, bringing over twenty years of expertise to Pikeld Concepts as its owner and operator. With a background in the culinary, craft cocktail bar, and hospitality industries, Dean has held key leadership positions as President, Vice President, and Director of Operations for the companies TriOut Hospitality, Axels Restaurants, SVK Kitchen, HUB Workspaces, Eatsa, Dean & Deluca, and Club Quarters before opening Pikeld Concepts, LLC. He has successfully navigated the dynamic landscape of the restaurant industry, demonstrating a keen understanding of market trends, customer preferences, and operational excellence. He has provided operational and strategic business leadership for a wide array of companies working across multiple service and experience-driven industries, skillfully leading businesses through times of expansion, decline, and transformation.
As the Owner and Operator of Pikeld Concepts, Dean is dedicated to steering the company towards continued success and opening new locations in Nashville and New York City, under the Pikeld Cocktail Bar Concepts, that will position the company as a trailblazer in the competitive high-end cocktail bar landscape.
With his unparalleled expertise and forward-thinking approach, Dean stands as a driving force behind Pikeld Concept’s commitment to delivering high-end artisanal craft cocktails and customer satisfaction.
Steve Barone is a seasoned technology and business executive driven to empower people and organizations to achieve more. He has served on a variety of advisory board positions for some of the leading cyber security firms in the world including Symantec, CrowdStrike, Forcepoint, and FireEye. He has his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Massachusetts – Amherst.
Steve was the CEO and visionary behind CBI, a Detroit-based cybersecurity solutions company he started in 1991. The company began as a small, two-man computer shop and grew to become one of the largest and most trusted security firms in the nation. His vision and passion for CBI’s thirty-year history were instrumental in the successful sale to Converge Technology based out of Toronto, Canada in 2022.
Born and raised in Detroit, Steve shows his pride by supporting the Lions, Tigers, and Wolverines as well as volunteering with the Detroit Area Rescue Team (DART) – a nonprofit he founded to fill local charity gaps in and around the city he loves.
When time allows, Steve enjoys being with his family on their farm in Tennessee, coaching his kids, world travel, backpacking, or bungee jumping somewhere new in the world.

As an experienced Bar Manager in the cocktail bar industry, Hunter is passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and creating a dynamic and thriving bar atmosphere. With years of experience managing teams of bartenders and overseeing the day-to-day operations of a cocktail bar, Hunter has developed a keen eye for detail and a talent for crafting unique and delicious cocktails.
Above all, Hunter is dedicated to creating an unforgettable experience for our customers. From the ambiance and decor to the quality of the drinks and the level of service, he believes that every detail matters when it comes to providing exceptional hospitality. Hunter is always looking for ways to elevate the customer experience and make our bar the go-to destination for cocktail lovers in the area.
Buddy Ladd is the Managing Member of Defense Integration Solutions (DIS), an IT systems leader providing integrated, secure, and scalable terrestrial and wireless network solutions to federal, state, and commercial markets.
The engineering staff at DIS has over 40 years of experience in various sectors of these markets. DIS has experience in a broad range of equipment vendors and systems, and the expertise to select or customize a solution optimized for each client’s application. DIS was the first systems integration company certified to deploy wireless LANs on DoD-licensed spectrum for the US Navy. DIS is a CVE-verified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), a govWin Verified Government Contractor, and a Corporate Member of The Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA).
As a Project Manager, Katherine brings a wealth of experience in leading cross-functional teams to successful project completion. With a background in the entertainment and hospitality fields, she excels in coordinating the various aspects of bar design, construction, and setup, ensuring that the final result aligns with the establishment’s theme and vision.
With a keen understanding of the latest trends in mixology and bar culture, Katherine strives to create immersive experiences for customers. Whether it’s implementing innovative drink menus, optimizing operational efficiency, or enhancing customer satisfaction, Katherine is dedicated to bringing a touch of sophistication and success to every new project she undertakes.
Sharon is a seasoned accounting professional with a proven track record in financial management and strategic planning. She discovered her passion for accounting whilst earning her bachelor’s degree from Georgia State University. Having spent the majority of her career in the construction industry, Sharon transitioned easily into the hospitality field several years ago.
As an accomplished accounting manager, Sharon has a comprehensive understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance. She is adept at leading cross-functional teams, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and implementing cost-effective solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
Passionate about the art and science of culinary creation, Jason Miller is a seasoned culinary specialist with a flair for transforming ordinary ingredients into extraordinary culinary experiences. After earning his accounting degree from the University of North Texas, Jason trained as a general manager and sous chef at his uncle’s restaurant in Houston.
In 2010 he opened Shiloh’s Bar & Bistro in Macomb, Illinois as General Manager and Executive Chef in 2016 as General Manager of PUBLIC Kitchen + Bar as well as Green Lantern Cocktail Lounge in St. Paul. While operating these two establishments Jason was able to use his vast knowledge of spirits, wine, and beer along with his years of culinary experience to work along with chef Justin Sutherland and lead a team to grow the brand creating a healthy culture and work environment. Running the restaurant of a famous chef taught Jason how to maintain the concept identity while ensuring the food and beverage represent the brand the chef created.
In 2019 Jason joined TriOut Hospitality as General Manager of their pan-Asian restaurant with celebrity chef Andrew Zimmern called Lucky Cricket. As TriOut Hospitality’s portfolio of businesses has grown Jason has been able to use his years of experience to help cost, source, and implement food, beverage, and equipment for our restaurants and co-working spaces located in Minnesota, New York, and Tennessee. Recently, Jason has been working with Pikǝld Concepts to create the culinary accompaniments for their high-end craft cocktails.
